PARENT CORPORATION

DACC is the immediate parent corporation of several government entities, including Dubai Airports Corporation, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects Corporation, DANS and Dubai World Central Corporation (Dubai South).

Directly or through its affiliated corporations, DACC owns a number of other subsidiaries all of which serve the overarching mandate of DACC Group. Additionally, DACC has investments in a number of joint ventures, either directly or indirectly through its affiliated corporations. These subsidiaries and joint ventures include Dubai International Hotel, Dubai South Properties, Duserve Facility Management, South Energy, Emaar South, Emaar Dubai South Hotels and Retail, and Dubai South Community Management.

As the parent corporation, DACC undertakes a multifaceted role, overseeing strategic alignment, corporate finance, stakeholder management, coordination among its affiliated corporations and subsidiaries, and providing legal and governance support to the group. Through its dedicated internal audit and risk assessment function, it offers objective assurance within the group by conducting audits and risk assessments. This comprehensive approach ensures synergy and efficiency across the DACC group, as well as financial integrity, transparent stakeholder relationships, and effective collaboration among its affiliated corporations and subsidiaries. By fulfilling these responsibilities, DACC sustains operational synergy and fosters sustainable growth within its business ecosystem.

LICENSING AND REGULATORY BODY

DACC is the licensing and regulatory body responsible for Dubai South districts (Logistics, Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, Residential, Golf, and Commercial). In this capacity, DACC provides an attractive legal enviroment and streamlines the licensing process for business wisihing to establish their businesses at Dubai South. As of today, more than 4000 companies are licensed by DACC and are operating within Dubai South.

In addition, DACC acts within Dubai South districts as the Development Control body responsible for managing the building and construction permits activities, the urban planning and zoning, and the implementation of occupational health safety and enviroment (OHSE) policies and standards across Dubai South.
